Future Trends of Software Engineering

Tuesday 26.06.2018, launchlabs, Gundeldinger Feld, Halle 8, Dornacherstrasse 192, 4053 Basel, 6 pm - 9 pm

The current discussion about digitalization is dominated by new technologies and services while the enabling advancements in software development are far less visible. The rapidity of change contains challenges as well as opportunities for both software developers and users. This event on June 26 at launchlabs in Basel aims to give insights into both perspectives. We will discuss current and future trends from different perspectives as well as their effects on software development and the speed with which new solutions can be brought to market.

The event is aimed at IT professionals who want to understand what drives software development and how this impacts the speed, deployment and uses of new software solutions.

This event is part of our activities commemorating 10 year of swiss made software and is held in cooperation with BaselArea.swiss. We will also celebrate the launch of our newest publication at the apero following the main event. All participants are invited to take a free copy home.

The event is free of charge. However, registration is compulsory by 25th June 2018.
